Are you concerned about the warning labels on toothpastes?  “Do not swallow”, “In case of accidental ingestion, contact the poison control center” are written on the labels of toothpastes on store shelves that people are trusting in their mouths.  Since the mouth is such an absorbent place in the body, it’s obvious that what goes into your mouth, will eventually, at some level, end up in the blood stream.

An excellent article was written by “Living Traditionally”  that lists the ingredients in common toothpastes that can cause cancer, disrupt thyroid hormones and affect heart function.

The list includes:

Triclosan

Polyethylene Glycols

Fluoride

Sorbitol

Artificial Sugars (ie. aspartame)

Propylene Glycol

Glycerin

Diethanolamine

FD & C 1 & 2 Dyes

Be sure to read the labels on your toothpaste. There’s no reason to take risks in order to have a healthy mouth. .
